Month 8: Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa

Exciting news from Grand Cayman this month as the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants Group opened the doors to their latest property on Seven Mile Beach. The Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa’s luxurious guestrooms and suites reflect the island landscape with vivid colours and sophisticated touches.

article_kimptonYou can expect stunning views of the crystal clear Caribbean Sea from nearly all of the 266 guest rooms and suites and three new restaurants to tempt your taste buds. The flagship Ave restaurant offers vibrant Mediterranean cuisine combined with fresh local ingredients from both land and sea. Serving breakfast, dinner and their famous Sunday brunch, why not dine alfresco and enjoy the stunning views of Seven Mile Beach. For all you foodies out there, Avecita’s nine-seat chef bar features an ever-changing seasonal menu prepared around a wood-fired grill and Coccoloba is part Mexican joint, part beach hut for casual on-the-beach dining. There are also two pool bars, a café style pantry and, of course, room service.

article_kimpton_2If you feel like you need to work off all that delicious food, head to the 1,770-square-foot fitness centre where you can work out with state-of-the art equipment whilst still enjoying sea views. But don’t worry if being outside is more your thing as there is paddle board yoga, tai chi on the beach and also the option to hire a bike – the perfect way to explore the island. For exploring the island underwater the hotel even offers free GoPro underwater camera rental, allowing you to capture all the amazing marine life you will encounter.
Of course the 8,500 square foot spa deserves a mention. Soothe sun-kissed skin with a signature body treatment or make sure your feet are beach ready with a luxurious pedicure. All seven treatment rooms offer an array of euphoria-inducing services but for those of you on the go, there will even be a Spa Mini Bar for express treatments.

Seafire gets its name from the blazing sunsets visible from Seven Mile Beach but don’t take our word for it. Click here to find out more and experience all of this for yourself.
